CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE LAKE?

MUSKOKA WOODS IS COMING TO NEIGHBOURHOODS ACROSS THE GTA

This summer, kids can discover endless fun, right in their hometown. CITYCAMP, a mobile day camp powered by Muskoka Woods, is returning to neighbourhoods across the Greater Toronto Area from June 29 to August 21, 2015.

Muskoka Woods, one of North America’s premier summer camps, launched CITYCAMP in 2014. With more than 35 years of experience in the camping industry, Muskoka Woods applied its expertise in creating unforgettable summer memories when launching this day camp.

“We were thrilled with the warm welcome CITYCAMP received last summer,” said John McAuley, President & CEO of Muskoka Woods. “After introducing the mobile day camp model to Canada in 2014, we look forward to expanding our program offering and bringing the magic of Muskoka Woods to more kids in 2015.”

At CITYCAMP, boys and girls entering Grades 1-6 travel in groups with their counsellor to more than 18 arts and athletics activities over the course of the week, including:

  • Spider Mountain (equipped with a climbing wall, rope ladder and inflatable slide)
  • Skateboarding and scootering
  • Archery and paintball targets
  • Laser tag
  • Water slide and slip ‘n’ slide
  • Geocaching
  • Inflatable obstacle courses
  • Springfree™ trampolines
  • Nature programs and parachute games
  • Arts & crafts
  • Imagination Playground blocks – NEW in 2015

Along the way, guests make friends, learn new skills, and discover their true potential in a safe, secure, non-competitive environment.

“We have created an unparalleled day camp program that can be delivered in any community,” said Jeremy Laverty, Director of CITYCAMP. “This is a great opportunity for younger children to become familiar with Muskoka Woods and ease into an overnight camp experience.”
